Okay, so it doesn't really make me a bad person...does it?

Okay...so a few days ago hubby was on me about something-or-other (I honestly do not remember what about at this point) and I was listening to him going off and I had to stifle a full out laugh.  I'm hoping to everything sacred and holy that I was able to mask it with a cough.  Then when he was saying that he was really upset  about this (whatever the bickering was about) I am 100% sure I couldn't manage to keep the grin off my face or out of my voice when all I could say was "Yes, I can see that."  OMGosh, I thought I was going to fall on the floor from the effort of not laughing out loud.

Unable to think of a title

I've been musing to myself, I do that a lot...that and talking to myself, which I also do a lot of...and my musing brought me to wondering... OMGosh...I sound like a specific (unnamed here) chubby little cubbie all stuffed with fluff!
Anyway...what my ponderings have brought me to is how did I ever get here from there?  One day you're 25 and on top of the world with nothing but the future ahead and the next you're 50 and wondering "What the heck happened?".
So...I'm back to what I've been saying for years... "Why am I in this hand-basket and where are we going"

It's been crazy and hard this last year or so. I cannot even begin to explain all that is going on or that has been going on.
However, that being said, I hope to get anybody who may be watching caught up in the near future. It's not going to be tonight though. I should have been in bed hours ago...but I just HAD to make a post here...don't even know why.

PayPal Fee Calculator

I found this handy little site today.

It allows you to calculate how much you need to send in order to have the recipient get the full amount you want to send to them.

PayPal assesses a fee to the recipient which is deducted from what you send to them.

Never again will you have to try to work it out with PayPal's convoluted explanations of the fee structures.

New - Edward and Bella My Heart

So here is my very first Twilight inspired stationary.

It's animated which you can see in the tag but not in the stationary preview.

I did this one from a translated tut. I think I missed a couple of steps, but not much I can do.

Also some of the words didn't translate properly so I had to guess what they were trying to say.

Lastly I added several more frames to the animation to make the swing of the heart look more smooth.

You should be able to click on the preview to download the stationary.

It Finally Happened!

Today after Physical Therapy I decided to get Pixie an Easter Dress, shoes, etc. for a portrait for the Grandmothers.

Well she picked out a lovely little blue and green flowered dress (the flowers on a field of white) with little iridescent sequins scattered among the flowers (so sweet and pretty) and I picked out a little light weight sweater with an open weave, she really liked it so decided to take it too...which also had the sequins (what a stroke of luck), a pretty blue butterfly necklace and off to the shoe department to find shoes to go with her ensemble.

After many different shoes she finally settled on a pair she liked (darling blue and green plaid semi sneakers with elastic where the laces should be, they match the dress PERFECTLY) and the sales guy said it was a BOGO deal, second pair only $1.00. So several more attempts to find shoes she liked, finally a cute pair of deck shoes/top siders (?).

Ensemble in hand off we go to the cash register...

That was when IT happened.

The fellow who had helped with the shoes was ringing up the sale and when I said "ouch" to the total he smiled and said "Grandbabies can be expensive." I nodded and agreed. Wondering what that had to do with the price of tea in China. Then he looks me square in the eye and says "She's your Granddaughter, right?".

No Sir, she is my daughter.

He quickly changed the subject, asking her how old she is and commenting on her "Rapunzel" length hair... but still the sting lingers...

4Shared File Sharing Issue - The Fix!

Eearlier this year a dear friend of mine pointed out a little glitch in the 4Shared process.

This little check box appeard that allowed one to add the contet of the file they were viewing to their own 4Shared.

I was tinkering in my 4Shared the other day and found the FIX for that problem.

All you need to do is go to "My Account"

"Settings"

Make sure the little box next to:

"Allow others to add my files to their accounts."

is NOT checked.

Now you're good to go!
