Deck the Gorjuss Halls

Here is a new set I managed.

This one uses the adorable art of Suzanne Woolcott aka gorjuss, this particular cutie is Xmas Holly and is available from

and scrap elements from Monti Cole's wonderful "Santa's Friends" Scrap Kit available at AMI.

Unfortunately I got the blue screen of death AGAIN (this is about the 3rd or 4th time in 24 hours) before I managed to write down my settings. Hopefully I'll be able to figure out what I did to do tags for folks.

Yes Myrtle, I too am distraught!

I am devastated. I shouldn't be, but I am.

Long story short (I hope...brevity is not my strong suite). A letter was shared in on of the yahoo groups. The letter's creator is NOT a member of the group. It was shared by a snagger. The creator did not put her license number on her creation (I do not know if she has a license or not). A little investigation on my part revealed that the image was part of the MPTChristmas "Gift" package. The message with my statement of findings was sent to MPT.
Clearly the person who did this is gunning for my friend (whose yahoo group was shut down without notice because of this...) and for me personally as well.

I am now awaiting news as to if my MPT license has been revoked. They (neither the person who undercut us nor MPT) seem to have no desire to seek out the actual creator of the stat, instead choosing to make an example of my friend and I. Apparently our failure to publicly lambaste the girl who shared "a pretty letter she got in another group" is sufficient grounds to charge, try and convict us of "copyright infringement". All without contacting us I might add.
No consideration given for discrete directions given off list. No consideration given to the fact that neither my friend nor I have used any licensed art inappropriately. Everything we've made has the appropriate licenses, and adheres to the requirements of the various agencies and artists.

I am afraid that and sure that if one agency revokes my license they all will.

As I said, I am devastated. I shouldn't be, but I am. I am lost.

I've worked so hard to be compliant. Educated myself on what artist are available from what licensing agencies, spending a fortune on licenced art/images to use, another small fortune on scraps, making sure to credit everything from the Artist, the agency, the scrap kits, the scrap's creators, down to even the fonts used in the headers, tags and bodies of the stationary...just to have somebody flush all of that down the toilet... on a whim.
Why would somebody want to do that?
What horrible thing could both my friend and I have done to the same person at the same time to make her hate us so?
I think I "get" the persons perspective who reported the "violation".
I choose to believe that she thinks she is protecting the artist's interests.
(I protect artist's interests, however, one doesn't need to punish innocents to preserve the artist's interests.).
The road to hell is paved in gold with good intentions.
She has added another paving stone to that golden road.
Me, trying to diffuse a tense situation with humor, may well have cost me more than money.
It may well have cost me my hobby, something I am finally feeling good about, countless dollars to be sure...I suppose I could count them...but then I might lose my mind...
it may cost me my reputation, my ability to continue with this (really the only good thing I've managed to do other than my daughter)...
All the time, the effort, the money...
I'm going to go cry now.
More on this travesty here and here.

Long Time No Blog & New Tags

It's been far too long since I've posted. I can't even explain what's been going on. I don't think I am sure myself.
However I have managed to make a couple of new sets.

The most recent is "Magic is Afoot" using the fabulous art of Joel Adams and scrap elements by Claery's Designz

You should be able to click the tag to request.

Next is "Kitty Witch" made from scrap elements by Kay Miller of Kay Miller Designs.

This one comes in two versions. One with a spider walking across the bottom by the name or the static tag which is shown here.

You should be able to click the tag to request. If you do request please let me know if you want the Animated Tag, the Static Tag or both.

Next is "Halloween Chubbie Treats" made entirely from Halloween Elements by Farrah's Creations from Designer Scraps Livin' Large.

Again the tag should be clickable should you want one.

Beyond that, I'm not up to much. Not getting on the computer much.
Missing my online friends terribly...
Wishing I felt better.

I sincrely hope that you are having a wonderful day!

New Ortho Doc! Dr. Heinrich Himmler!!!

UGH! They had only a couple of wheelchairs when we got to the hospital so I decided to be considerate and crutch/walk it. Made it up to Orthopaedica, they sent me to X-Ray a long way away from ortho...
I've always thought they were a long way from each other not just since I got broken.
Then back to the farthest reaches of X-Ray and back to ortho.
I haven't been so physically drained in a good long time. to meet my new Orthopaedic Doctor...
He is the reincarnation of Heinrich Himmler!!!
Gestapo Doc stated that the PT folks needed to push harder,
I was reduced to tears and the "nice" doctor reminded me to breath several times while he was twisting my foot around. Stating that THIS is what PT needed to be doing, and so does hubby.
He repeated the process in excruciating detail to make sure that DH knew what to do.
Mind you, hubby has no issues with pain if it's productive.
However after DH fetched me a wheelchair (I wasn't walking anywhere else and we had three more stops before we left the hospital) and we were on our way to the next stop DH commented that he doesn't think this guy is as good a doctor as my last orthopaedic.

Dr. Himmler (no not really his name) reluctantly agreed to give me a small supply of pain pill to get me over the current hump in my progress.
He also said that I can stop wearing the boot and move back to regular shoes.
Stressing that I need to aggressively work on getting the normal foot motion back,
and that the boot is hindering that process.
I agree...It's terribly difficult to walk in the boot.
So I'm on crutches with a regular shoe and he would like me to be using a cane or nothing at all by my next appointment in four weeks.

So I'm happy, hurting, but happy.
PT is up now to three times a week.
It's going to be interesting but hopefully it will be a good thing.
The sooner I am better the sooner life will be back to normal.
